Selecting the right product:
Flexovit Cutting-Off Wheels and Grinding Wheels come in a range of sizes from 100mm to 230mm for use on portable angle grinders, and 300mm to 400mm for use on petrol saws, chop saws and stationary machines. They are available in 3 different types, 27 (depressed centre), 41 (flat) and 42 (depressed centre). All type 27 wheels should be used for grinding whilst all type 41 and 42 wheels should be used for cutting. The wheels type can be easily identified by the following pictograms:

Understanding the product
Speed stripe key*
Do not operate your Flexovit Cutting-Off or Grinding Wheels at a speed greater than that as indicated by the colour of the speed stripe.
Differentiation within the range
Where greater differentiation is needed within a range, this is done through colour coding and application instructions.
